If you dig into your Meta conversion events, you are likely to notice a problem: Conversion event data doesn’t match up. I’m talking about Meta’s own conversion event data not matching up. Custom conversion mapped to that standard or custom event 3. Browser vs. API Event Deduplication. It’s not.

Meta’s Documentation From Meta’s documentation about deduplication , there’s a table with the question, “Are events deduplicated or not?” After they complete the purchase, they refresh the confirmation page three times.

If using ODAX, use the Leads objective and choose the “Instant Forms” conversion location from the ad set. If you do a good job of messaging in that document, you may end up with more leads that become buyers. Once the user completes the form, they can immediately download the file without leaving.

Meta’s documentation on Advantage+ Audience only mentions the ability to exclude ages or locations. That’s what you want, too.
