I was flipping through an in-flight magazine yesterday and noticed a two-page spread for a diaper company. It became a more prescient concept when MySpace collapsed as Facebook began to gain its momentum. Back then, it was much easier to build and update a MySpace page than it was to build and nurture a unique website.

I do commend the way companies (and basically the entire population) have jumped on the social media bandwagon and recognized that it is the best way to connect with people nowadays. Do you think we would have things like poetry, comic books, magazines and fanzines if we judged the printing press the same way we judge social media?
