There are many reasons for the change back to the default, most notably that many long-time commentators had complained about various functions (or lack of functions and didn’t want to wait until future plugin versions included their wish lists). Marking comments as spam, for instance, required multiple clicks instead of one. The company’s customer service team is top notch and the Livefyre system does allow for robust interactions among people commenting — but while it may work well for some blogs, my presumption is now is not the best time to continue with it.
