10 Tips For Creating Branded Social Graphics

Social Media Strategies Summit

Social media is visual media. And this is with good reason, as Dr John Medina mentions in his book Brain Rules : “If the information is presented orally, people remember about 10 percent, tested 72 hours after exposure. That figure goes up to 65 percent if you add a picture.” Even less ostensibly “aesthetic” social platforms are increasingly dominated by visual elements.

6 Priorities When Picking a Meta Ads Client

Jon Loomer

I have spoken with far too many advertisers over the years who are put in no-win situations. They have difficult clients with near impossible expectations. These clients do not set them up for success. You do not need to take every client. The ideal partner will make your job easier. When you give yourself a better chance at success, you make it more likely you’ll have happy clients who will recommend your services to others.

Is This a Custom Conversion Bug?

Jon Loomer

I received a comment on a blog post about custom events related to a potential bug or change Meta made. I looked into it, and I’m seeing this, too. When creating a custom conversion that maps to a custom event, there is no option to refine by parameter. I tested my custom events to make sure that parameters are still passing, and they are. That said, I do still have the ability to refine by parameter when creating a custom conversion mapped to a standard event.

Jon Loomer

Threads is in the EU now… Meta launched Threads , their Twitter competitor, back in July. There was criticism at the time that it was launched while missing some very basic features. Maybe more importantly, it wasn’t available for users in the European Union due to some privacy issues. Well, that has now been corrected. Do Not Take Helicopter Clients

Jon Loomer

I understand that as an agency you can’t always be picky. But the worst possible client is one who doesn’t trust you. They hired you for your expertise.
