Realizing that a majority of you don’t follow my Google Reader feed or may use a different feed reader, I wanted to provide another option for you to access those articles. Sure, I push my Google Reader shared items through FriendFeed and I share a handful of posts daily through my Twitter account.

Synchs with Google Reader seamlessly, and I can easily stay up to date on my fav blogs. Let’s be real now… Subcribe via Google Reader Google Reader happens to be my favorite RSS reader and I highly recommend it. I love that we can share and learn together using something as simple as a feed reader. What’s better than a little bit of Justin along with your coffee?

Make sure you open up Disqus and Gravatar accounts for blog comments – Gravatar stands for Globally Recognized Avatar, so that your brand is being represented uniformly across the social media universe. Tip: Use a RSS reader tool to pull in these industry specific blogs – I like Google reader but there are other options available.

These are tracked through a variety of tools and even popular commenting system Disqus scours social networks to find blog posts being shared and displays those as “interactions&#. Google Reader trends tell me that I share around 30 articles per day through there. I’ve been thinking about this often.
