By March 2009, my plugin usage increased to 23 plugins , decreased in September 2009 to 22 plugins , and upped in February 2010 to 35 plugins. This is not entirely true, for what really needs to occur is the “nofollow&# attribute that WordPress adds to comment links must be turned off.

No Follow Certain Links – Adding the nofollow attribute to certain links tells search engines not to pass Pagerank to them and not to give any ‘benefits’ to the receiving page or site. I also nofollow links to pages that don’t need my link juice such as About or Contact and even things like my RSS feed.
