The Irony: MySpace Okay, so in my previous paragraph, I mention that you should be an early adopter of social networks. The only similarity is a 140 character limit for posts — so Plurk is essentially a microblogging platform. Here’s the real Facebook, long before I joined the social network myself: Truthfully, it doesn’t matter who invented Facebook. Facebook is like MySpace. And these three social networks, which were based on very similar concepts, predated the Facebook that we know and love today. Facebook is like Classmates.com.

The blogger (Professor Jutras) posts his ideas, occasionally throws in some editorial and takes some light, widget-fed microblogging (the current events some students share). I see this seminar as a blog.
