I’m actually writing this sentence (not the post) on March 11th 2010 sitting on a feed count of 4,717 subscribers (I’ll explain this later). My feed jumped from 8,500 to over 11,500 according to Feedburner. to the RSS feed. As for Feedburner: every day my feed count changes by 1-2k. Here’s how.

I ran a DJ blog which I later let die due to other interests and I even ran ViperChill for a year (a long time ago) without getting one single comment or feed subscriber. Naomi Dunford at Ittybiz doesn’t show her feed count (though it’s high) but instead shows the number of monthly visitors she gets in a nice graphic.

It’s common though that when someone puts images in their post and they align nicely, things won’t look as pretty when you get the post in a feed reader. This plugin aligns images in your RSS feed so they are exactly where they would be on your site. By default, the Wordpress title tag is backwards.
