My friends at ExactTarget announced a moment ago that they have acquired CoTweet , the leader in enterprise Twitter management, and will be building a social products lab to add tie-ins for Facebook, YouTube, and other elements of the social communication ecosystem. All members of the CoTweet team, including uber-sharp CEO Jesse Engle will stay on board, and the CoTweet name will continue. ExactTarget bought CoTweet.

This caused such an outcry by the Facebook community that several groups formed almost immediately calling for Facebook to change their terms of service back to normal. This didn’t seem to be enough for the community and the people kept complaining. The problem I had with this was that the Facebook community was not notified by Facebook to the changes.
