Social Media speeds Onboarding

Buzz Marketing for Technology

I am officially up and running now in my 6th week here at Avaya and loving my new role. And what has been really interesting for me to see was the difference between organizations when it comes to things like social media. One of the things I was pleasantly surprised to find in the first few days was that Avaya has their own Yammer account within their firewall.

Why I Gave a Domain Name Back to Its Former Owner

Bill Hartzer

With the economy being the way it is right now, with everyone fighting for every last dollar, every last cent, trying to make just a little bit more money for yourself and your family, I seems as if everyone is out for themselves–and not thinking of others. Every so often, an opportunity comes up when you can do something good. Yesterday, I had that opportunity.

Buzz Marketing for Technology

Last week, I was interviewed by a technology services marketing team looking to improve their Demand Generation activities. They had a very cohesive but small team and they wanted to ramp up activities to drive brand awareness and lead generation. But as you might expect they had limited funds and bandwidth (don't we all). I suggested a few different places like investing in more Content Marketing, Lead Nurturing and Social Media.

Domain Name Appraisal Services and Domain Name Values

Bill Hartzer

As you might recall, a while back I talked about Leapfish, the world’s fastest search engine. Now, Leapfish has brought back a popular feature of their site, their domain name appraisal service. Type a domain name into their search engine and they will attempt to put a dollar figure on it, telling you how much it’s worth. From what I can tell, it appears that Leapfish is figuring out (estimating) the amount of traffic you have to your site, putting a price on each visitor, and then d
