The campaign, a road tour, dubbed the “Spirit of Aloha” includes Hawaiian travel and tourism executives, 3 dancers & 2 musicians on loan from the Polynesian Cultural Center as well as Maui’s Camile Velasco of American Idol fame. Maybe travel and tourism will will be the next segment to utilize the power of event marketing.

Oscar Meyer’s stunt is perhaps the oldest and longest running mobile marketing campaign in the country. Kraft is smart about their event marketing campaign, its integrates nicely with their website , they have a blog and them seem to focus on cities in the DMA 50-100 range. Put it in perspective. I doubt it.

There is even a feature to add additional pages, great for blog-specific campaigns and funnel analysis and comparing it to Engagement Events. It seems like an easy thing to do, let the user choose the dates, particularly helpful if the blog is part of an overall campaign. It isn’t that we need a tool that does everything.

Neither convinced nor converted Despite campaigns such as the pink chaddi, the Indian psyche towards social media can be best termed as skeptical, at the moment. In my opinion, it will take another five years, at least, for Indian social media to mature to the benchmarks set by campaigns like the Pepsi Refresh Project.
