Make it easy to instantly see that there are fans comments and conversations taking place on your page. If the comments aren't expanded by default, people may miss the conversations. Make sure comments on stories are expanded by default. It will encourage new visitors to participate as well.

The study’s key findings include: 22% (108) of the primary corporations listed in the 2009 Fortune 500 have a public-facing corporate blog. 86% of these blogs (93) link directly to a corporate twitter account, a 300% increase over the 2008 study. This represents a six percent increase over the 2008 study.
