SDL SM2 — I have always loved SM2 by SDL. So, we try to optimize our landing pages for Search, and GSC/GWT really helps us with that, especially since we don’t have the built in benefit of RSS, ATOM, or Sitemaps. They offer a gorgeous tool for tracking Boolean keywords across Social Media.

To be fair, I’ve only included those I’ve actually used (Radian6, Sysomos, Spiral 16) or tested (Meltwater, SM2). I'm currently using SM2 for most of my clients, and like how easy it is to use. On your chart, you show that SM2 can get down to the state level on the geographic filter. I do have a question for you though.
And then there are monitoring tools like Alterian's SM2 that are out of most people's price ranges. There are free and inexpensive tools that do just about the same thing Google Analytics can do, except that GA also shows bounce rate. So, it's not that PR professionals don't think these questions are important.
