To make your link even more attractive to click on, be sure to remember to do things like add it to the information box on the front of your Facebook profile (which pulls from your Info tab’s website contact information) and choose Other instead of My Blog on your LinkedIn profile to include the name of your blog or main keywords.

Bloggers who are compensated can use the “nofollow&# tag within their outbound links to keep those links from being tagged by Google as paid content. The nofollow may well make that harder, but then again, if you are under contract I think it’s the buyer’s responsibility to track the postings of the paid blogger.

I remember the days when traffic from the service would only have a 30% bounce rate, and while it’s around 80% now, a percentage of visitors still leave comments and sign-up to your RSS feed which is what most people want them to do. Maybe you need to make your RSS more clear (like I mentioned on our coaching call) in the left sidebar.

When there’s over 20 links to sites like Gmail, Facebook, Digg and Twitter, it’s hard not to be distracted. I also love that having multiple accounts in one place means that I can easily share blog links on Twitter and Facebook or save them if I wish. My Twitter and Facebook accounts are pretty much separate too.

The solution I implemented on PluginID (which made between $200-$300 per month) was by using the OIOPublisher plugin (paid – not an affiliate link) for Wordpress. It’s completely up to you whether to show advertisers this, and either way you can still see the statistics from your Wordpress Dashboard. Any advice would help.

If I need to check something or add a link I’ll simply type “FILL THIS IN&# so once I put the post into Wordpress I know where to make changes. I have deactivated my Facebook profile (this is probably temporary) as it steals far too many minutes in my day. As far as other sites go, I don’t really use any.
