Bloggers who are compensated can use the “nofollow&# tag within their outbound links to keep those links from being tagged by Google as paid content. The nofollow may well make that harder, but then again, if you are under contract I think it’s the buyer’s responsibility to track the postings of the paid blogger.

I’m also going to be doing some cool things like hiring a model from Craigslist to come to my apartment and shoot some relevant videos which should be fun. I am keeping up with the RSS Feed. Not one of the results for this very lucrative phrase were homepages.

The Nofollow attribute was first introduced by search engines to help stop spam on the web from ranking in search results. I remember the days when traffic from the service would only have a 30% bounce rate, and while it’s around 80% now, a percentage of visitors still leave comments and sign-up to your RSS feed which is what most people want them to do. The usual method, and the one I like to promote, is by genuinely helping your audience through valuable content (which can be text, video or audio based) and gaining a loyal audience by doing so.

Decide on a Brandable Name Because these blogs write so much, they don’t have as many people coming to their blog via feed readers as you would expect. Last year TechCrunch were a much bigger blog than Mashable.
