This, in my not so humble opinion, effectively kills RSS, as a consumer blog and article consumption medium, once and for all. Sure enough, if you read Google trends , a natural interest in RSS fell by at least 50% back in 2013. RSS isn’t social. You can’t reply via RSS. You can’t share via RSS.

So far, the only thing that comes close is CommaFeed , although it has been a bit slow lately and doesn’t let you search within a specific group of RSS feeds or within just one feed. It would also maintain those lists by adding new members to the lists as they were discovered. Google Reader.
