Disqus Comment System : I’ve used Disqus pretty much from the jump. I’m perfectly happy with Disqus. Pretty Link Lite : Every blog post has a long URL that includes the year, month and key words. Sometimes it’s also nice to have a short (and readable) URL to share in an email. I really, really do.

To the extent that this site even shortens long urls so that they fit in well with the posts and even leave space for Retweet in Twitter. For instance when you post a blog you need not manually start to copy and paste the same matter across your other sites. A simple tool like dlvr.it does this task very efficiently.

Next is to submit the pages url to search engines. What you also need to remember is that the spiders of search engine crawl from left to right of the page. So if your left side of the page has no keywords or has flash with keywords etc then you loose the robots immediately. There are free submission pages that you can utilize.

If you don’t have them already, setup a Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools accounts. Google Analytics – This plugin makes using GA on your blog easy as copying and pasting a code.
