They’re simply registering on tons of forums and profile websites, placing their link in their bio’s, and then ranking well for their keyphrase. Once again I’ve noticed another website which is simply spamming forums (and writing articles) in order to rank for their phrase.

In the article they say they’ve had 60 manual penalties removed by not actually removing any links and just using the disavow tool. Mostly nofollow and those that are dofollow are spammed to hell.
