Most of the growth did not just come from StumbleUpon but there was a huge increase in search engine traffic as well. Although I don’t have any goals for the size of the community here, I still think it is an interesting metric to monitor. People in the Third Tribe are great users of stumbleupon, and twitter at least.

ViperChill has been ‘relaunched’ now for 2 and a half months and the community has grown by over 1,000 subscribers in this time which amazes me. The only work I have done this month was write three articles and promote them on Twitter, so I’m happy that the content is good enough to be picking up so many subscribers.

The only traffic source which dropped was StumbleUpon, so really the site is still growing nicely in channels like search and direct traffic. Overall Traffic Visits : 19,777 Pageviews : 37,173 Avg time on Site : 3 mins 06 seconds The traffic has taken a large dip from last month, purely because StumbleUpon sent 22,000 visitors in January and just 1,600 in February. I’m curious if you are an active StumbleUpon user yourself, and how valuable you find SU traffic to be.

Whilst StumbleUpon can send you thousands of visitors in a single day, I can guarantee that less than one percent of that traffic would buy a product if they were to suddenly land on your website.
