I think Livefyre, the comment system that has been implemented on WUL for just under two months , is da bomb. I’m not one to get overly excited by blog comment systems, but this one has me blown away. in my opinion, than other comment systems that allow you to post your comments to, say, Facebook or Twitter?

When you have a fairly popular blog, you have to deal with comment spammers. Unfortunately, blog comment spamming still works apparently, or at least the blog spammers haven’t learned that it doesn’t work. Nonetheless, I’m still amazed at some of the comments left on the blog. Saved as a favorite|bookmarked!!}

I am not alone in not being pleased with the new way that comments on pages from non-admins are marginalized from the main content of the page, positioned well below the fold in the right column under the heading “Recent Posts by Others on [page name].” ” And there’s no other option. Open source content management systems like WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal are good options. Are you guest posting, commenting on other blogs, and getting involved in forum discussions? Speaking of comments, you will find it hard to blog successfully if you do not respond to the ones on your own blog. Determination.

Jeremy gets online and says it’s cos he’s not a woman he got sacked, the GoodGame crew go the forums and say it was their decision, the community get their knickers in a knot and start a petition , a Facebook goup and a website called SaveJunglist (his gamer handle or nickname). The site -looks like Drupal is called SaveJunglist.
