If your website is receiving reduced web traffic or the present strategy in place is not working as efficiently as it once did then you probably have been penalized by Google. Every web portal has to abide by Google’s webmaster guidelines to reach amongst the top ranking in search engine results. Why did we get the Penalty?

Now that I had my niche, it was time to get a domain. This domain would become the home of my million dollar website so it had to be good. When you’re thinking about domain names for affiliate sites, its best to be as relevant as possible, but also choose something brandable. Good stuff!

Analyse the Search Volume The first step you need to do before trying to rank for any keyphrase in Google, is to find out how many people are searching for it. It’s completely pointless being number one in Google for “dog umbrellas&# if nobody is typing it into the search box and looking to keep their dogs dry in the rain.

My plan is to build a site around a popular niche and initially sell a product that I know is doing well on Clickbank. To maximise profits and the traffic I receive, I will probably build my own product in the same niche after a few months. Because I’m going for a big fish I simply decided to look at the most popular products.

Meta Tags When you search for a site in Google, you’ll see a snippet of content under the page link. I should mention that Google announced a few months ago they do not crawl the keywords tag anymore. The Google external keyword tool is a good place to start to see which phrases are popular in your audience.

I have been refining my dev team over the last few months, doing “practice&# products such as the reputation management plugin for Wordpress I released, but I’ll soon be ready to take things to the next level. I don’t think there is anything better or more likely to sell than a product which solves your own problems.
