My primary concern was that, after seeing nearly a 90% variance between their numbers and those from Google Analytics on my own site, I couldn’t trust that their numbers for other sites would be correct. This is important, as we often use Compete.com and similar sites to report on potential reach of coverage for our clients.

There were 371 sessions who found me from a search engine when resulting keywords showed my site as a relevant link. Related Stories Hello 2015, Goodbye Comments No More: Daily Blogging 3 Decembers of Twitter Data. Far less visits, 186 total, came here by clicking a link somewhere else online. Happy birthday to me! Here was that very first forum post announcing RMN 7 years ago: Just 18 days after that introduction post on the forum, RetailMeNot became the highlight of a 15 page thread from other coupon site owners highlighting their dirty tactics to make their website relevant.
