One of the ways that Twitter has been used (other than listed above) has been by conferences like South by Southwest (SXSW) and Gnomedex. As all conferences I’ve attended, it was a great one, and by far the best part was the smallness of the conference overall which really helped the networking efforts. The Shout Outs Aha, you thought I’d forget about the shout outs with all that conference summary. Now why would I do that?)

When you go to a conference in Manhattan, you probably seek out hotels that you’ve also heard of. I personally learned about Roger Smith Hotel at a social media conference and was told that it’s the place to be. I first really learned about RSH at the conference we were at together, Betsy. We think so!

So, Facebook, when are you going to have a Business Center that regularly communicates with owners of small businesses or larger businesses who don’t place ad buys on your network? I think people opted for FB over MySpace because of so many of the reasons people are becoming disenchanted with FB right now. My friends list?

My solution has been to respond with a note that the publisher doesn’t allow me to distribute that material (that’s true) and suggest that they buy a copy of the book that includes a CD. I actually had a client call me out on stage once, in front of like 800 people at a conference, in an attempt to pay me a compliment.
