Has this translated into a significant change in social news referrals for publishers? I’m not able to reveal the specific sites or figures due to confidentially requirements but they are all well established brands. 12 sites is a very limited sampling so this survey is certainly not meant to be conclusive.

Many brands these days use social media to promote themselves and to reach out to their target audience. What’s Your One Thing? Volvo = Safety. Apple = Innovation. Disney = Magic.

Handling all incoming inquiries professionally (and even quickly) can do wonders on indirectly building up your blog (and maybe even your brand) with high regard. Excuse me, but since when is branding worthless? Did I miss any rules?

I ran the social news site Reddit through the tool as an example and I’m told that around 55% of visitors are male (though I expect this to be a little lower than reality) and 24% of the audience are over 50 years old. Some sample phrases that I used in Google include: Top surfing brands. Google Queries.
