The easiest way to find these people is to find the communities that your users frequently visit, be it forums, Twitter, or other social networks. get Twitter mentions of your brand via RSS or email) or use a service like Backtype (backtype.com) to see comments across blogs and other social media sites (such as FriendFeed).

By then, Facebook, you were so big that you didn’t have the staff to accommodate the requests and inquiries — some which are quite legitimate and require personalized attention — that resulted as a consequence of being more open to businesses. And now there are Community Pages! Where Did My Facebook Page Go?

A regularly updated Fan Page brings greater awareness Community Page : What if you love something but you have no direct affiliation with the product/service, can’t find the official page, and worse, discover the page doesn’t even exist? Community Pages are the most annoying thing Facebook has given us , but I see their point.
