The point is that consumers now have a more potent aggregate power: someone with a problem can now reach others with the same problem faster, build a community around this shared problem easily, and mobilize lots of people behind the common cause more efficiently. That’s what’s new: a significant leap in efficiency.

Since the Digg submission of my story was already buried , I sincerely hope that Digg listens to what their community members have to say. By trying to make Digg more social, it really became less social. i like digg because its different and i hope that difference doesnt erode with these new features.

Somebody who has probably had a great time at college using Facebook and finds the features on LinkedIn to be relatively primitive and well, kind of boring. I used the Questions & Answers feature to get answers to two real world questions. LinkedIn clearly needs to develop this feature more. Features , Social Networks , Trends.

You can use Google Alerts or Social Mention’s alert feature. I prefer Social Mention because they are more thorough than Google. What social media site gives me the most traffic?
