Subscriber Stats Monitoring your subscriber stats is probably the best way to track how well your audience is growing.

You can see how many people are subscribing to your RSS feed and from which sources, and if you use the new Google Analytics integration, you can see how many clicks each individual post is getting from feed readers. Around two years ago I had over 350 feeds in there as I was a total information junkie.

If you’re sick of all the slimy marketers out there and want to get updates from someone who is actually going to show – for free – how they make money, then make sure you subscribe to the RSS feed. I am keeping up with the RSS Feed. Sell it, give it away, whatever you like, but please continue to communicate.

Don’t tell me something I know : If your headline says something like “Why exercise is good for you&# or “How to increase your feed subscribers&# then I probably won’t read it. A year or two ago I did this for a popular topic – how to increase feed subscribers – but in a way that was new and promised value.

Their list posts have gone hot on StumbleUpon and they may even have had a big-blog mention and suddenly their feed count looks impressive. In order to get mentions on other blogs then you need to be focusing on being involved in the communities for that industry online and providing the very best content that you can.
