Have you ever encountered this type of issue? One of the reasons I type so well today is because I started typing on a laptop when I was six, and really fell in love with it. Carl : Possibly when you don’t even know how to type yet. If you don’t know how to type or just put something like, “cupcakes are awesome&# then you’re too young.

Twitter, Pownce, and other “microblogging&# platforms really don’t fit in the type of social networks that I intend to illustrate here. I think it’s a bit of an intrusion on my privacy with how Spock seems to be harvesting emails. However, as stated in my blog policy , I have asked you to use your real name.

Over the last 7 months I’ve certainly walked the walk of social media marketing and this post is as plain and simple as a definition gets. Those type of comments are why I do it. You’re in an industry (photography) and are a business type (small) where a lot of people would say “social media isn’t for me&#.

Depending on what type of page you are creating (for a business, publication, celebrity, etc.) 2) the type of interaction (is it a like? We have already forwarded it to many of our clients and colleagues who find this type of advice most helpful. it has a bit to do with privacy concerns in my opinion. Thanks so much, Ken!

Further, if we also take a close look at some of the domains, you will notice they try to establish a type of authority for the blogger. For example, by looking at ProBlogger, we are being told that the owner is not an amateur but a pro blogger.

As Tamar pointed out, it’s a social news site, not a network and I could care less about how often profiles are updated. Folks that spent considerable time on Digg prior to the update, by and large, were looking for a social news site. It’s a social site with news secondary. Is there any?
