Quora links can provide referral traffic to your domain, but because they’re nofollow links, they’re useless for SEO. But since the link is nofollow that doesn’t help with my SEO.

I believe quality links ARE better, but I’ve never seen someone prove in a case study that directory submissions are not worth their while. This is gold.

Check if links are “nofollow.” Then search for a “nofollow” tag. Study existing content for inspiration. The second thing you want to do is study the articles that are already posted on the blog, and pay attention to the topics as well as the overall style of these articles. Find out if people are talking about the site.
