I went from having over 150 blogs in my feed reader in the last few years to just 12, purely because I was seeing the same content over, and over (and over) again. You can find ideas in literally any niche, with some examples being their marketing , finance , gadget and humour sections. BTW, nice post.

I had to head over to Google Reader to read other internet marketing blogs, Google Apps to read my ViperChill email and GoNutshell.com to get a hold of my task list. I read these through FriendFeed where I’ve setup a private room for these feeds. Will be interesting to see where this goes.

It’s common though that when someone puts images in their post and they align nicely, things won’t look as pretty when you get the post in a feed reader. This plugin aligns images in your RSS feed so they are exactly where they would be on your site. There are some useful tips I’ll try like rss image alignment.

Decide on a Brandable Name Because these blogs write so much, they don’t have as many people coming to their blog via feed readers as you would expect. Can you really take in 50-60 posts every day from your favourite blog in your inbox or in Google Reader? I have a couple of niche blogs right now.

The title is the most important part of your blog post as it gets shared on social media and helps feed readers decide whether a post is worth clicking through to read. As I said with Bum marketing, I don’t think this is a great long-term strategy if you’re looking to make a serious amount of cash.
