Six places you can find writers for your blog: Guest Posters: If you have published guest posts in the past, take a look at them. If one of the guest posters stands out, contact them. That would be the first place that I will look for and I can think of people that I’ve hired that started as guest posters.

Marketer Steve Weller recommends delaying the promotion of your content, to instead focus on curating really great stuff. “If you write great content, people will find it.”

With a bit of editing, these posts could make great personal essays, which you could sell to freelance markets that accept these. You could combine pillar posts with additional content to create free, downloadable ebooks that you can promote through your site, or sell on Amazon. Get a tattoo of your blog post URL!

I recommend that you try a little bit of everything (including podcasting, article marketing, posting on forums, etc) and then hone in on the ones that are getting you more of the type of visitor that you want. In the future I plan to create an ebook or two…and even start to monetize, worldwide.
