Fortunately, there is an easy – and free – solution for anyone who uses WordPress on a self-hosted domain (sorry WordPress.com users). Some sites, like Search Engine Watch and Business 2 Community place your author-specific RSS link on your page using the standard RSS icon. Add “feed” to your author page URL.

Permalinks Permalinks are simply the URL’s for your posts. p=38 but if you look at the URL for this post you will see [link] I’ll let you decide which one you think looks better. I currently use the following format: Some people like to have categories in there but I like to keep URL’s as short as possible.

URL Rating (UR). Nofollow links also matter. Some links, for example, the ones from blog comments may have the rel=”nofollow” attribute. <a The nofollow attribute gives search engines instructions not to follow the link. You give some cool content to the host site and it rewards you with a backlink.
