As Digg becomes more of a social network and less of a social news network (or a hybrid that incorporates both elements), it has a lot of obstacles it needs to face. Besides major usability issues , duplicate stories submissions , and ads that literally scream at you , Digg has yet another issue to deal with: privacy.

It comes with my social media maturity , I suppose. To answer some questions, Industry connections are those I know through the search industry (primarily) but I have not yet met in person. I’m curious, however: for those who have the chance to answer this question, how do you leverage different social networks?

I asked two questions, and here are their answers: How Young is Too Young? But I do think its important to, if they want to blog, teach them well about how to keep a secure amount of privacy, especially when it comes to pictures, addresses, hang-out spots, etc. He’s 12 years old and lives in Tri-Cities, Washington.

These examples above illustrate a typical usability question faced by Facebook users (well, except for Grandpa). These are friends who have no direct ties to the industry, but in using social networks, we’ve formed close bonds and friendships. The big question of return on investment comes up often. Encourage Community Interaction In the simplest form, have a Facebook wall and ask your fans questions or share cool company or even personal insights with them. Why a business wouldn’t want to be there at this point is really questionable. EXCELLENT question.

Zuckerberg : So what was the question again? Lacy repeats her question and Mark continues: There are a lot of really big issues in the world that need to be solved. There was a lot more uproar over the news feed from more users than there was with Beacon and it was primarily a concern about privacy. And the response?

As Tamar pointed out, it’s a social news site, not a network and I could care less about how often profiles are updated. I despise having less access to news than I’m used to. But the question is – how are casual users’ stories going to be accessed? Is there any? Through upcoming?
