I remember sitting in an ROI webinar with New Marketing Labs’ Justin Levy , and he more or less skimmed through 5 or 6 different measuring tools like Grader, and of course, Google Analytics. Here’s a great example: Many Yelp reviews are taken down within a few days of being posted. Put them to good use! Ever wonder why?

By that I mean not only the social voting sites like Digg, Reddit, etc, but also on the social networks (Facebook, MySpace, etc), social communication tools (Twitter, Pownce, Seesmic, etc.), social conversation tools (FriendFeed, and maybe you could even lump in Disqus and the like with it).

I have been in business for 30 years and have worked across many markets, in many countries and I have worked the LinkedIn system to get those contacts usable. For example, somebody just entering the workforce. We then circulate that to their contacts and anyone else on our system with matching keywords. social networking.

On the other hand, Plurk is really new, and thus, Twitter wins on followers (and the fact that mobile access — via SMS — totally owns), so the Plurk discussions (for now) are at a minimum. I am starting to use Plurk more with the mobile interface, though it isn’t 100%.
