Forexreviewlink.com is right up there on hundreds of profile sites with their URL post on all of them. Their links mostly come from resource and links pages on other guitar websites which is great. If you can get links with good anchor text, from high quality resources, then you can outrank a site which has far more links than you.

Tweak the Permalinks – Permalinks are simply the URL’s of your blog posts and pages. By default, your URL’s are setup like [link] which isn’t very pretty and doesn’t give an indication to what the page is about. Before opening the doors I like to make sure I have analytics in place.

If you could overly-simplify the Google algorithm and say that they just want “great resources for end users which pick up links naturally” then I think that’s a great model. Cnet are one of the best tech resources out there online. Don’t put analytics code on any of the websites. Set them up manually.
