My feed jumped from 8,500 to over 11,500 according to Feedburner. At first I assumed it was a bug, but it has stayed this way for over a week so I’ll assume everything is working as it should (Feedburner usually drops, not increases). As for Feedburner: every day my feed count changes by 1-2k.

Ruud Hein suggests another way of doing this with Feedburner. If you want to share or publish one of the filtered feeds, run it though FeedBurner to obfuscate any Google or Yahoo account info. I also cant see any real advantage over delicious (except for not having to remember where all the dots go). Across the Sound.

Subscriber Stats Feedburner is so erratic that I just can’t take it that seriously anymore. Although I don’t have any goals for the size of the community here, I still think it is an interesting metric to monitor. Despite the current flaws in the system, I will continue to report on the numbers that it gives me.

Either way, it’s good to take full advantage of all the features available and become a genuine, helpful user of the community.
