Hosted and Mobile-Specific Article Formats. As a user I like the new hosted and mobile-specific article formats, be that Facebook Instant Articles , Apple News Format or Google’s AMP project. Fast and clean is a good combination, especially on mobile. App Indexing for both Google and Apple is another growing trend.

Before we get started, I just thought I would mention a few Google algorithm changes that you should know about when thinking about link building in 2012. Google’s Panda update. You can even use the Google Algorithm Change History chart to match a spike in search rankings with a specific Google update.

Google XML Sitemaps helps search engine robots know what the site looks like, enabling you to see the best post when searching for a keyword. RSS Footer inserts a customized line of code at the bottom of every blog post whether you receive it by RSS or other means. Want to see the map ? 6 Inactive Plugins Used Occasionally.

Google XML Sitemaps is like the Dagon Design generator above, but this one helps search engine robots know what the site looks like, enabling you to see the best post when searching for a keyword. RSS Footer does what the name implies. Feed Pauser allows me to publish a post but pause its feed publication up to 20 minutes.

I had to head over to Google Reader to read other internet marketing blogs, Google Apps to read my ViperChill email and GoNutshell.com to get a hold of my task list. Page 3 My third and final tab on Netvibes is used for reputation monitoring: Here I have simply added RSS feeds from places like Twitter Search and Google Blog Search.

I remember the days when traffic from the service would only have a 30% bounce rate, and while it’s around 80% now, a percentage of visitors still leave comments and sign-up to your RSS feed which is what most people want them to do. Maybe you need to make your RSS more clear (like I mentioned on our coaching call) in the left sidebar.
