AdSense revenue. My third-highest income stream (8%) comes via Google’s AdSense program. This was the first income stream I ever tried (somewhere around 2003–2004), and it still works for me. I don’t have to split the money with anyone, and because AdSense has already taken its cut there aren’t too many direct expenses.

My first niche blog was a camera review blog I started in late 2003. It was also the first blog I made money from by putting some Adsense ads on and referring people to Amazon with affiliate links. That being said, you should definitely grab the domain names and social media accounts as soon as possible.).

AdSense – dPA has a large amount of traffic, so it pays to use AdSense along with other income streams. Our third income stream, third highest income stream is AdSense. Google ’s AdSense program. I know AdSense doesn ’ t work with everyone and every type of blog. AdSense seems to like our site as well.

December 2003 : By this point, I’d started to experiment with making money from my blogs (I had a couple by this point). Social media : I do the bulk of my own social media marketing, but in the last month or so Simon has also become more involved in this for dPS. social media (mainly on ProBlogger).

When I first started writing on that topic and that was back in 2003 on a very early blog, I was reviewing cameras. I wrote a whole series of posts on how to monetize your blog using Adsense. I probably wouldn’t even recommend you go back and read them today because Adsense changed a lot. This is how I started out.
