T Mobile has, in past, brought the best virals and flash mobs like The Fake Royal wedding , The Parking Ticket Stunt and the Welcome Back. But no questions asked and eyebrows raised, since it is currently soaring high on charts. Considering their amazing virals in past, personally I feel they could have done better.

I recognize that this question comes from a place of fear, misunderstanding, and a lack of comfort with changing communication styles. Wells Fargo – Wells Fargo organized a flash mob in Times Square that became great video/social media content. In fact, you likely need fun more often than not in boring industries. No one does.

And in other news, San Francisco subway shuts down cellphone signals to stop social media organisation of civil protests and Braunschweig, Germany bans flash mobs (using Facebook to organise sudden demonstrations). The big questions: are traditional media throwing a hissy fit because social media is upping the competition?

Barely enough traffic needed for a respectable flash mob. Frustrating enough to make you question what you are doing. Instead, it received the usual handful of tweets, smattering of likes and a gaggle of comments. And a majority of the traffic you did get either came from you or from people that share your bloodline.
