It’s a good mix of coach-speak, highlights, community service footage, and cheerleader features. I’m trying to understand how such a great campaign could have a foundation that is so unstable. I got hooked on the Star Tribune Twolves message board in 2002 and haven’t looked back. So, I peeked at YouTube.

Her work is highly regarded in the social media community and she was recommended multiple times in the comments section on last year’s list. Marcus had amassed a large amount of knowledge about content marketing and created The Sales Lion to teach others about the power of community. I love his blog.

Same with the message board trolls, who are all too easy to overlook in favor of bloggers and Twitterers. I would then create a group in my database solely populated by those influencers, and I would create a whole series of outreach and engagement campaigns to trigger positive brand chatter among them. What would you do?

That means setting aside time to answer community questions, point people to resources, and find ways to be useful to your audience – whether that’s educating or simply entertaining them. The great thing about Twitter is that anyone can sign up and easily find his “community.&# Use Twitter as your company office hours.

This is an important advantage, as I bought a $30 lavalier microphone and can now grab good audio even at crowded conferences, etc. SocialMention For more comprehensive social media searching, I use SocialMention , which indexes blogs, tweets, message board posts, and a lot more.
