Be sure to list your new blog URL as well as your new RSS feed URL in that post so people can subscribe easily to your new site or visit it directly. Not everyone wants to go through RSS or email – some may just prefer your Facebook fan page or Twitter. They tend to love that and will happily migrate to your new site.

Google just downgraded content farms.

You can see how many people are subscribing to your RSS feed and from which sources, and if you use the new Google Analytics integration, you can see how many clicks each individual post is getting from feed readers.
