One of the local Twitterati here had Chris Brogan up to Maine for a social media conference, and I caught it on UStream. Spray your head and no one will notice you're bald. I totally get the point of the iPad as a way to make casually web browsing, social networking, and ebook-reading simpler and trendier, but in no way are these things “computers&#. There seems to be a distinct collection of sessions, parties, and hang-outs for the social media crowd, and then a completely separate collection for developers, entrepreneurs (and of course film attendees). Largely, it didn’t happen. Not to dampen next year's event by adding to the registration rolls, but I hope to attend.
