Ustream and YouTube Video blogging is becoming increasingly popular, especially now that smartphones have better video cameras, and there are apps to upload them to video services, such as Ustream and YouTube. Ustream gives you a way to host a live show and have your Twitter followers chat with you while you are on the show.

Using Digg as an instrument to get Digg’s attention has never clearly had an impact until last week’s “revolt,&# and the only reason why it had an impact then was because it was done off Digg’s site (in this case, Ustream ) and had plenty of press people standing behind it.

One of the local Twitterati here had Chris Brogan up to Maine for a social media conference, and I caught it on UStream. That mission, to add value to the communities they reach, is the heart beat of social. They run a radio test, and if no one bites, your product is throw in the crapper. I'd buy a book from him. I became a big fan of playing games (bingo especially) at a little hub on AOL called RabbitJack’s Casino , which was considered a unique community within the AOL borders with a close-knit group of people from all walks of life. Twitter is the new chat room, but IRC still remains a popular choice behind services like Ustream and Y!
