    Comparing industries, leisure and hospitality topped those surveyed with 57 percent saying the use social networking to market their company, followed by IT, (48 %), retail (43 %) and sales (41 percent). According to a brand new survey by CareerBuilder , one-quarter of businesses leverage social media to recruit and research possible staff. Twenty-nine percent of companies with 500 or fewer employees are utilizing social networking in some way.     It retails new for $449 and Amazon sells it for 16% less. I waited for the Acer Iconia a500 tablet to arrive, and I unpacked it today. But I bought it much lower from eBay, being the winning bidder at $270 for a manufacturer-refurbished model. specifically chose this device because it runs the Android operating system, which is also active on my HTC smartphone. This is among the short list of tablets to be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich in the coming weeks. It’s installed with Honeycomb today.
