Hosted and Mobile-Specific Article Formats. As a user I like the new hosted and mobile-specific article formats, be that Facebook Instant Articles , Apple News Format or Google’s AMP project. Fast and clean is a good combination, especially on mobile. Are you taking full advantage of these opportunities?

Check by going to the following URL, and replace domain.com with the website’s domain. Links can do this regardless of whether or not they contain the “nofollow” attribute, contain redirects, come from a site with a high PageRank , and so on. When it comes to leaving links, leave behind our blog’s URL in the website field.

WPTouch provides a mobile-friendly view of this blog for smartphones and other mobile devices. The script also prevents would-be scammers from ripping me off and portraying my work as theirs.

RSS Footer does what the name implies. At the bottom of every blog post that is syndicated by RSS , a line of code is inserted indicating it was sourced right here. WP Ban simplifies the amount of time it takes me to weed through comments Akismet treats as spam, by banning anyone by IP address, host name, user agent, or referer URL.

I remember the days when traffic from the service would only have a 30% bounce rate, and while it’s around 80% now, a percentage of visitors still leave comments and sign-up to your RSS feed which is what most people want them to do. Maybe you need to make your RSS more clear (like I mentioned on our coaching call) in the left sidebar.
