Here are my five social media predictions for 2010. Location-Based Applications Will Dissolve Into General Social Networks. Services that are specifically location based will not experience the kinds of growth achieved by general purpose social networks. These companies could end up being acquired.

And don’t be surprised if Facebook comes up with some kind of Facebook Credits/Work Game scorecard integration. Yesterday I attended the Sharepoint geekfest at The Hilton Sydney. His company is ZevenSeas which wins points for having a cool name, I reckon. Badges for no missed sick days would be a good start.
