There has never been any sort of major effort to distribute MySpace broadly across the Web by baking it into other sites, applications or circumstances. Nearly all the once mighty, now defunct social network or community sites unfurled and died after being purchased. The tools of social media always change.

I agree that the discovery piece is not what it could be within the Foursquare application. In terms of showing friends' opinions first, and all opinions second, I believe that's the future of everything – social graph portability.
