Contact Commenters , the subject of an earlier article illustrating how to turn a lurker into a user , enables me to target email messages to people who comment on specific posts or haven’t commented in a given period of time.

Leave Blog Comments Most blog comments are nofollowed (this means search engines aren’t supposed to give weight to the link, though I believe Yahoo and Bing still do) so they don’t provide much link juice directly. Examples include the Face-Off series that I ran and times where I would ask the same question to multiple people.
