Flickr, going back to FriendFeed and Plurk and things that we don’t necessarily use now. That fosters community.

Twitter versus Plurk: Not Even in the Same League

It’s a lot noisier without risk factors involved: it’s harder to really follow every single Plurk from a person, whereas in Twitter, you can read everything in one page (as you can see, I’ve primarily exercised caution with my Tweets). I immediately noticed the difference in community at plurk. Great post!
