I do this as I want ViperChill to be a case study for all of you on how to grow a website and make money online. Subscriber Stats I really don’t know if I should continue reporting on Feedburner as the count is just far too erratic. But with Feedburner, who knows. Yup you are right about the feedburner stats.

I said from day one that I would do a case study of this sites’ traffic for one year, and that’s what I’ve done. Subscriber Stats Feedburner is so erratic that I just can’t take it that seriously anymore. What about your million dollars case study? Is it still going on?

Feedburner If you’re a blogger and you’re not using Feedburner, I first of all want to know where you’ve been, and secondly need to say that you have been missing out. Feedburner basically provides the little yellow “chicklet&# that you see on the top right hand corner of this blog.

My feed jumped from 8,500 to over 11,500 according to Feedburner. At first I assumed it was a bug, but it has stayed this way for over a week so I’ll assume everything is working as it should (Feedburner usually drops, not increases). As for Feedburner: every day my feed count changes by 1-2k.

They simply read it because they like seeing a big blog case study unfold before them. Yet, if I notice a “11,652 subscribers&# feedburner chicklet before clicking the close tab, it’s far more likely to make me stick around. I suppose that’s where the feedburner stats counter/social proof comes in handy.
