Subscriber Stats I really don’t know if I should continue reporting on Feedburner as the count is just far too erratic. But with Feedburner, who knows. Yup you are right about the feedburner stats.

I said from day one that I would do a case study of this sites’ traffic for one year, and that’s what I’ve done. Subscriber Stats Feedburner is so erratic that I just can’t take it that seriously anymore. What about your million dollars case study? Is it still going on?

My feed jumped from 8,500 to over 11,500 according to Feedburner. At first I assumed it was a bug, but it has stayed this way for over a week so I’ll assume everything is working as it should (Feedburner usually drops, not increases). As for Feedburner: every day my feed count changes by 1-2k.

Yet, if I notice a “11,652 subscribers&# feedburner chicklet before clicking the close tab, it’s far more likely to make me stick around. I suppose that’s where the feedburner stats counter/social proof comes in handy.
